Welcome to Decorating Evert. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of our website, services, and the purchase of bathroom accessories from our online store.

By visiting our site or placing an order, you agree to be bound by these Terms, our Privacy Policy, Shipping Policy, and Return & Refund Policy. Please read them carefully before making a purchase.

By agreeing to these Terms of Service, you represent that you are at least the age of majority in your jurisdiction of residence. You may not use our products or services for any illegal or unauthorized purpose, nor may you, in the use of the Service, violate any local, national, or international laws.

3. Products & Pricing

Product Descriptions: We make every effort to display the colors, features, specifications, and details of our bathroom accessories as accurately as possible. However, actual colors and details may vary depending on your display device.
Pricing: All prices are displayed in Euros (€) and include applicable Value Added Tax (VAT) under Dutch law.
Price Changes: Prices for our products are subject to change without prior notice. We reserve the right at any time to modify or discontinue any product or service without notice.

4. Orders & Acceptance

When you place an order on our website, you make an offer to purchase the selected items.
We reserve the right to accept or decline your order for any legitimate reason, including product availability, errors in pricing or product descriptions, or issues identified by our fraud-prevention systems.
In the event that an order is modified or canceled, we will notify you immediately using the email address or phone number provided at the time of purchase.

5. Shipping & Delivery

Service Area: We ship exclusively within the Netherlands. We do not ship to addresses outside of the Netherlands.
Shipping Cost: Standard domestic shipping is free on all orders.
Order Cutoff: The daily order cutoff time is 2:00 PM CET (Monday – Friday). Orders placed after this cutoff time will begin processing on the following business day.
Timeframes:
- Handling/processing time: 1 – 2 business days (Monday – Friday).
- Transit time: 3 – 5 business days (Monday – Friday).
- Total estimated delivery time: 4 – 7 business days.
Carriers: Deliveries are handled by PostNL, DHL, or DPD. A tracking number is provided via email once the order has been dispatched.

6. Returns, Refunds & Exchanges

Return Window: Customers have 30 calendar days from the date of package delivery to request a return or exchange.
Eligible Items: We accept returns for both defective items (damaged, faulty, or incorrect) and non-defective items (change of mind, wrong size, or color).
Return Shipping Costs: Return shipping is 100% free. We provide a downloadable and printable prepaid shipping label by email.
Restocking Fees: There are no restocking fees (€0.00).
Exchanges: If you request an exchange, we dispatch your replacement item as soon as the carrier registers the initial drop-off scan of your returned parcel.
Refund Processing: Once your return is received and inspected at our Amsterdam facility, approved refunds are processed back to your original payment method within 10 business days.

All transactions are encrypted and processed through secure payment gateways. By submitting an order, you confirm that you are authorized to use the chosen payment method and authorize us to charge the full order amount.

All content on this website, including but not limited to text, images, logos, graphics, icons, digital downloads, and software, is the property of Decorating Evert Bruijnesteijn B.V. or its content suppliers and is protected by applicable copyright, trademark, and intellectual property laws.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Decorating Evert Bruijnesteijn B.V., its directors, officers, employees, and affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, punitive, or consequential damages resulting from your use of the website or any products purchased through it.

10. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms of Service and any separate agreements under which we provide you services shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Netherlands. Any disputes arising in connection with these Terms shall be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in Amsterdam, the Netherlands.
